The Entomological Society of America announced today the first major review of the ACE program since it was first introduced in 2004.
The ACE program continues to grow as the primary certification option for individuals working in urban pest management. Even as ACE candidates must take an exam to be qualified to wear the ACE patch, occasionally even certifying agencies also need a test.
According to Chris Stelzig, Director of Certification for the Entomological Society of America, the ACE program has grown since its beginning at an average annual rate of 38%. "It was time to examine the program and make sure the program itself and the content of the exam are up-to-date and meets standards for all certification programs."
